Here is the view from our apartment in Okpo.
Our Living Room.
Kitchen. Look at that Fridge! Very Small.
Bedroom with Queen Size Bed and Desk. You can see we only have 3 drawers and it the far left corner is a small closet!
Bathroom. Strange enough the drain for the shower is underneath the sink. It takes about 20 minutes to get hot water. There is a heat machine controller (looks like a thermostat) that you turn on and wait for the hot water to come from whereever it comes from. This also heats the apartment through the floors. So when you want to wash dishes, yep you are waiting for the hot water!
Hey Shawn and Tommy, Glad to see you have started a blog. I was just reading Billy the part you wrote about the hot water situation and he said, "See Christy, waiting a minute or 2 isn't so bad after all, is it!?" and now he just told me I was spoiled. Anyways...I am excited to read all about this adventure you guys are on and to see all the pictures. It's pretty interesting stuff. Take care and be safe!!
